Hornburg event.

What does everyone think?

For thoes of you who dont know what the mod is, it's basicly invasion with LOTR, and no cades.

Sounds like a good idea, I would be up for it.

I agree. In fact, wanting to play this mod made me drop an unintentional innuendo on the mod's topic (unintentionally, of course). So take from that what you will.

What time? open event or closed? We`ve done a few hornburg events in the past,basically if we have a open event,then its just like any other server,no coordination what so ever. Seing as there is a hornburg server already up (last time I checked) I figure the best would be a closed one.

I agree with closed. If anything because my hardware hates the open invasion events and Hornburg likes to funnel enemies through even narrower points than Full Invasion.

As for time, I'll leave that up to you, naturally.

It`s a free forum,in order to make money out of this service,they need to put shitloads of commercials around. Its a pain in the ass,but we cant stop it. Try installing a add-blocker,that might help.

I use Ad-Blocker plus on Firefox myself. I had no idea there were even adds in the first place.

Yeah, its what you get when you have a free forum, not gonna pay out for a proper forum when barely 1/3 of the clan even checks it. I wouldn't pay for one anyway. Use a pop-up blocker.

There`s also that fantasy mod I`d like to try,tho he seems to be having some problems with Bungie....

However, that's a discussion for another topic.

As a side note, I don't think he's having trouble with Bungie insomuch as he doesn't understand the basic concept of copyright law violations. The problem doesn't lie with Bungie as much as it does with him.

It should be great with Hornburg if we can you our server for it with lots of players.

I believe Hornburg didnt work so well with me. Last time I joined a game I couldnt spawn. :/

And yeah, it would be good, however, just like in any invasion, tonnes of bots plus lots of players really doesn't go down well in terms of game play quality. =/

I agree that it should be closed, the number of enemies is proportional to the number of players so 30 players makes it unplayable for most of us. Just the clan by itself should be a nice number.

We'll also never win with all the hapless pubbers going around .

@Rawn, I seem to remember there being an issue with female avatars but I might be wrong. If that is the case though then you just need to make a male avatar for the event.

I think it had something to do with not having the patch installed actually. Or maybe that was invasion...

Closed suits me just fine. We can use the wolfpack community thing,and hopefully make that grow.
